Job Description
- Req#: 22-147277
- Racking and stacking of servers (blades and rack mounted), devices and appliances
- Commissioning new servers with Windows operating system on it.
- Racking and stacking ESX hosts and configuring ILO's on them and handing it over to the windows team
- Managing power swap activities in the data center and assisting facilities team in their activities
- Decommissioning servers, appliances, enclosures, racks, SAN devices etc. in the data center and handing them over to Back Thru the future company to shred them
- Migrating servers within in the data center
- Migrating appliances and servers from USRDOM domain to DMZ domain
- Managing server hardware like adding/replacing NIC's, HBA's, Memory, Brocade SAN switches and other server related hardwares in the data center
- Managing newly introduced Cisco servers, chassis and racks through KVM console and commissioning/decommissioning servers.
- Creating and presenting weekly reports to the customer for the data center operations at offshore and onsite
- Creating changes to implement as per the tickets
- Present changes in change management meeting
- Dealing on-call base work for many team related to datacenter
- Creating SOP's and uploading them on the SharePoint
- Manage cross team conflicts and meetings
